i think he should jump on mayweather like he did berto, dont let mayweather get into his groove and dont try to stand and box with him. when the bell rings make it a war, not some sloppy **** but like how he did in his fight with berto. i need that same intensity, speed and power.sharp punches on the inside working more of the body then the head. had ortiz worked berto's body more i think he would have stopped him. should be a great fight, im picking floyd to win.

if only he could've strung those punches together and knocked Peterson out in 3, would have saved Ortiz and his fans a lot of frustration the rest of that fight.

Ortiz might not land a punch in 3 rounds.

Keep dreaming, Ortiz is is going to get totally outclassed in this fight, he'll probably quit in his stool after about 8 rounds.

dont listen to some of the people here. what i have come to conclude is that a large percentage of the people that post here cannot think for themselves and will jump on someone like yourself simply to belong.

there is a chance that ortiz can beat pbf. he is coming off two consecutive 18 month layoffs against compromised competition(drug-tested mosely/weight-gained jmm). furthermore, he is now 34. srl, sweet pea, jcc and dlh(all three fighters that heavily relied on speed and timing like pbf) all declined considerably when reaching their early and mid-30's. and these were fighters that never took more than a year off between fights. to make matters worse, ortiz is in his prime and a southpaw, something that mayweather sr. has consistently warned pbf of. he reminds me somewhat of a smaller fernando vargas. lastly, pbf may be looking past ortiz to either khan or paq.

in my opinion there is good value at ortiz +500 and i will be making a small play. i see this fight as -375/+300.

i previously had pbf at 13 units against jmm and had a small play with him against ssm.

if you're in this to make money, pick a few handicappers that you like to confirm or refute your picks and hunches.

and then make sure to avoid some of the idiots that post here... and there are plenty.

i would bet you straight up that ortiz is ahead on ledermans scorecard after three rounds.

in fact, i wish they offered this bet at the sportsbook. pbf is a notoriously slow starter as he takes his time to figure out his opponents letting them throw first.

he then counterpunches after he determines their flaws and weaknesses.

people can badmouth pbf all they want but he is one of the most intelligent fighters that ever fought. no knowledegable boxing fan would ever refute that.

    freddie roach said so himself.

that's the angle i'm coming from pal. his last year and half lay off preceded fights against marquez and mosley who like you said were both compromised. his speed and reflexes were still awesome but not quite as blistering and who's to say he hasn't lost another inch. he's not like hopkins who uses every dirty trick in the book to neutralize his opponents physical advantages. mayweather needs that speed reflexes to time his countering, and trust me he'll need it all against ortiz.

victor hits fast hard and often.

Yeah but Floyd always keeps his wits about him when he's been stunned in the past. And he can make Ortiz miss easy with those wild shots.

Ortiz will win this fight and the event, only way Ortiz loses is if he gets robbed by the judges.
