    "It was fun. . ."

After the chaotic ending of saturday's boxing fiasco, this mentally fragile young man only had that to say about how the fight's conclusion. There was neither rage, nor indignation, nor even genuine dissappointment in this guy's post fight comments and attitude.

I have never seen a boxer involved in such a high profile fight, obviously the fight of his life and in which he was being comprehensively dominated even before he short-circuited and headbutted May, dismiss a loss so nonchalantly and unapologetically given his generally subpar performance.

The more I analyze this guy's personality, the more I come to believe that he is essentially a little kid trapped in a man's body. He seems to have been merely happy to have had his 15 minutes of fame and his very brief stint in the limelight. It seems he was just content of being in ring with May and talking about his life story on 24/7 and getting his 2.5 mil. Like a toddler being taken to the circus or the zoo for the first time.

"Oh well. It was fun." Awww shucks. . .There is nothing fundamentally fun about an elite high-level prizefight. It's warfare against another man. . .kill or be killed. Does Ortiz think this is some sort of game?

The Ortiz that fought Berto showed bravery but, once the opposition was from a higher level and once the stage got bigger and the stakes got infinitely higher this kid's mind simply evaporated into childishness and immaturity. Frankly I don't think Ortiz will ever be elite.

What do you expect him to say? What would you say if you were him?

It annoyed me how he was all smilling and shaking hands with floyd after the suckerpunch ko, I honestly would have attacked him after getting my senses back or atleast tell him to **** off, not smiling.

You're right on the money. Ortiz CLEARLY doesn't have the mentality for this game, and it has been demonstrated not ONLY by his out of the ring comments, but his in the ring behavior, on multiple occasions. H

Dude he had to make an emphatic point that he recognized his limitations in the ring that night and that he's genuinely upset that he couldn't live up to the moment and to the expectations his fans had of him. And he should have made it absolutely clear that he will work 10x harder in the future.

Dunno man, there was not a trace of this in his words. i don't think he has the mind for it actually.

it's a disgrace that he was given this opportunity in the first place. I think he himself realizes that and is just happy and grateful for the 2.5 million guarantee.

Maybe he gave 100% in his mind and there is nothing he can say. I'm sure he's disapointed.

Everybody who knew anythign about boxing knew he was a nobody from the moment the fight was announced. Most sane people were betting that he had no chance in hell of winning more than 2 rounds against PBF. It was all a big hype job.

The more that develops, the more this is looking like a fix. I mean reviewing the fight, when Ortiz has his moments, looking to be getting to May, he puts it in reverse.

Who the **** ties up after he's just landed a 3 peice?

IDK......but this is one of the most outlandish events I have ever seen, and the $$$$$$$$ involved in gambling industry and the illuminist controlled GBP have me thinking FIXED.

Everything Rios and Robert Garcia said about this guy is true. His entire life, personality, he's just a complete fraud and phony. Just retire from the sport, his mentality is one of the weakest I've seen in years right up there with the likes of Cintron, Judah, maybe worse....His chin is not strong, so he can get blasted out at anytime....He MIGHT be a shot fighter, he's taken some vicious KO's/Knockdowns stemming from the Maidana Quit Job, to when he was on the verge of being KTFO against Berto but came back to win, then just blasted into oblivion by 2 Mayweather bombs....Enjoy the $2.5 million and I don't know, go to college and be a Tree Teacher or something.

The guy always says a lot of weird things after getting knocked out. his head isn't quite clear. He said he didn't even remember the Maidana fight so maybe Floyd also rung his bell worse than we thought.
