Assuming Ortiz beats Peterson on Sat(which I think he will) and assuming Rios beats Soto in Feb(which I think he will) then lets make this happen already!

I think Ortiz would stop Brandon in a shootout, but I'd be pulling for Rios.

Tough fight. this is really a 50-50. I would want to see how Rios takes punches at 140. I would think pretty good. The guy is huge for LW anyways.

Ortiz UD. I think he learns from Maidana and stops trying to bang with big punchers with chins. Outboxes him for 12.

    Doubt it.

Arum wants to put Rios in an in-house circulation bouts between Soto and Antillon.

Not to mention that Ortiz is with GBP ...so yeah.

I think Ortiz would win fairly easily.
Rios would be moving up in weight.
While the Peterson win was very good, that is the first really good win of his career. Honestly I was shocked by his performance given the war he got himself into with Manuel Perez.

I'd be rooting for Rios both cause I love his personality in interviews, I don't like Ortiz and I love the way Rios spews venom at Ortiz every chance he gets. But, I fear the buildup would be much funner than the fight.

Rios isnt the puncher that Maidana is. Rios has thudding power. Maidana has explosive power. Theres a differance.

Damn it i forgot about that. I guess we will get

    Soto-Antillon II
    Soto-Rios
    Rios-Antillon
    Soto-Antillon III
    Rios Antillon II
Lopez-Against the most faded of the 3.

No but he is heavy handed enough along with a chin and pressure to be in his face all night. Grinders like Rios are a nightmare for a guy who can cave mentally.

Ortiz is in the mix at 140 with the big names in the division. Rios is fighting at 135. If Ortiz survives his upcoming matches he'll move to 147. He is a very big JW. I don't expect this fight the happen soon
