We're fans of these guys for their work inside the ring, and Floyd wouldn't ever let a struggle known as Maidana get the better of him the way Ortiz did.
He was better on last night's episode of 24 7 than the previous one. The story behind his tattoo was good.
Lots of folks have it hard comin up, no need to go on and on about all the time, we get the picture, Ortiz.
I think hbo keeps asking about it because it makes good tv, people love a rags to riches story like that, so they will keep hammering it in.
Well, Floyd may have to overcome adversity in the ring from time to time, as well as in his personal life, but statistically speaking, I would not expect a 9 year old Floyd left in a trailer with no electricity or food to make it to the championship level in boxing. As far as Maidana goes, it was a relatively intense struggle that Floyd has never had in the ring.
Most of us would be dysfunctional at the very least, moping and complaining in a jail cell about how hard we have it with his upbringing. As it is, he's a success in one of the hardest sports in the world to achieve success in and is poised to become a millionaire.
did you notice how a better man would handle/handled a potentially violent confrontation against a Floyd Sr. type of a father?
Most people like to think they've had struggles that would make other people break, but it's ignorance to think that way. Walk a mile in my shoes, walk a mile in your shoes.. tough times happen to all and having it tough doesn't always just mean bad parents, rough neighbourhood, etc. I've known rich kids, grew up with everything, off themselves. I never understood, but I've never walked in their shoes to know what kind of different struggles they had.
