    :think

Doctors put in titanium to Ortiz's broken jaw in 2 places which he broke in the 5th round and before the stoppage... Doctors were quoted as saying it will be stronger then before because of the titanium..

Should this be considered cheating like hand wraps? so now a chinny ortiz is gonna get a surgically implanted Iron Chin :bart seems like a little suspect... ****ing Ortiz is gonna be a ****ing terminator in there now... they said he broke it in the 5th and he still kept coming but in the last round the pain was just to much.. I guess he is a little warrior and no so much a quitter.

what do chin checker make of this? surgically implanted Iron Chins to mess your rankings up?

Abraham has an Titanium-enhanced jaw as well. But to be fair: it was very solid before that, proven by the Miranda (I) fight.

Ortiz is a mentally weak quitter who folds under pressure. And an idiot who leaves himself open to cheap shots. He had that 'cheap shot' coming after intentionally headbutting Floyd. If floyd got cut and stitches that could of cost him several months to recover out of the ring and cost him millions of dollars.

it MIGHT give him a stronger chin, but his future opponent will just find something in his body to break, and ortiz will fold:deal

In all seriousness..... Vic had every right to choose against coming out for that last round. He fought rounds with the jaw broken and after breaking it again in the same fight, different round I think he more than proved he's a tough kid. I hope he gets well soon and see this one again.

Regarding an unfair advantage? I think it's fine....there's fighters who have similar advantages when they shoot xylocaine or cortizone into their hands essentially numbing them to the point where they can punch harder without fear of hurting their hands.

I honestly don't think it makes a difference anyways....ortiz can still be KO's....the ability to take a shot won't change because of some titanium plates.

the titanium implants wont make any difference. They are usually alloy screws used to fasten the jaw line medially and laterally. In alotta ways it might even work against him as the bone density under the jaw might be weakened. Overall it shouldnt be looked at as an advantage cause it isn't.
