Yea I'd have to agree with this, even tho I think Ortiz got robbed in the Peterson fight and Lamont is better than previously thought. I used to consider Anthony Peterson the better of the bros, now I'm not so sure. Not comparing Lamont to Floyd, but Lamont got real lucky to get a draw he didnt deserve. He had his moments, but he wasnt schooling Victor either. Now Floyd schooling Victor, thats pretty much expected. Idk if its just me, but Victor looks stronger than Floyd and Floyd sayin he won't run basically fighting Victors fight that would be pretty balsy on Floyds part if it did happen. In a best case scenerio, maybe we get a WW version of DLH-Vargas?

He has a point Ortiz looked very much like Cotto did when Cotto stayed at 140 too long in his first and only fight at 147 he took the shots much better and proof that he should have moved up is in his weight the night of the fight.

I thought Peterson earned a draw.

That being said Peterson definitely schooled Ortiz. He killed him with his jab and turned him into repeated hayemakers to the point where Peterson was starting to legitimately buckle at the knees after eating those shots.

Now Floyd is even more skilled as a boxer than Peterson, he hits harder than Peterson, is longer than Peterson, and bigger than Peterson. Floyd by KO.

I was going to say recent but didn't because I knew a Floyd fan would latch on to such bait. A malnourished Pac been more hurt. But what about the Pac at WW? He's sturdier, deal with it.

Yeah, which would make sense. Just look at his father and uncle. It was arguably one of their greatest weaknesses as well (At least with his uncle. His father was nearly half as good as either of them).

Good summary. I basically forgot the fact that Mayweather's been inactive for 16 months. It's like the guy is Superman and far away better than any other threat out their. The age & inactivity will help to affect him at some point. I think it would affect him the most against a high octane work-rate fighter like Ortiz, if anything does slip through the cracks of that defense.

I'm never one to be emotionally swayed. Although, I knew based on Clottey's words and body language that he was never going to really fight Pac to win. Ortiz attitude has given me some hope. Maybe false hope, sure. I wouldn't give credit to 24/7 editing because Ortiz has been consistent in his mentality.
