Probably Chisora, Takam, Price, and a written order in the contract to never speak of Whyte or Joshua.

He would be easy pickings for Joshua in October after he has fought Whyte in April.

I suspect therefore they will looking for some bums for him to knock over, as they want him to look good to build up the the October fight with AJ.

After being knocked over by AJ could then be put in with big baby in early 2020?

    1. Bum in early part of 2019
    2. AJ in Oct/Nov 2019
    3. Big Baby in Feb/March/April 2020

Wasn't he fighting for Eddie just 1-2 years ago and then ran away?

Lets hope he actually signs and doesn't do another fight by fight deal.

He's saying Whyte isn't likely next so maybe Povetkin next as he's also looking to work with Matchroom and then winner gets Miller if he picks up the WBA regular belt to secure WBA mandatory position for Joshua.

Ortiz vs. Povetkin would be nice. As would be Whyte vs. either of them.

Yep guess Haymon wasn't offering any decent fights for acceptable money and he's now come back looking for a payday.

Ortiz has made some horrible career choices over the years. First breaching his contract with Greg Cohen to sign with GB which saw him sued, then him paying GB 1 million literally a few months after signing to get out of that contract, not agreeing to fight Ustinov to become mandatory and then signing to fight Wilder for 500K when he only had to wait a few months to be made mandatory and then could of made 10 times that vs Joshua.

Hopefully he makes the right choice for once and we get to see him involved in some good fights instead of wasting his time fighting on under cards vs nobodies.

    A 3 fight deal?

This dude is 50 years old, I'm not sure if he can handle 3 more fights.

It's a 3 fight plan. First, fight high blood pressure with some new pills on the market. Second fight is against high calcium deposits around the joints. Third fight is against age related death, a.k.a natural causes.

Eddie Hearns and that Adam Smith have devised a plan to beat all 3 within 2 years.

Al Haymon said those 3 fight's would take at least 6 years to arrange and that's why Ortiz came Matchroom!
