I have no idea who Spencer Fearon is. But when did Fidel Castro let members of the Cuban national team spar with Lennox Lewis?

Seriously.

What year? Where at? What fight was Lennox preparing for?

I've heard a lot of Lennox Lewis sparring stories. But I never heard about him sparring with people on the Cuban National Team. Particularly guys like Ortiz who were less than 200 pounds as an amateur.

I'd love to know.

Spencer Fearon is pretty reliable in my experience, although that in itself doesn't mean a lot. Malik Scott sparred with Lennox and he's 38.

Nevertheless Ortiz is a little older than stated. Most people in the industry know that.

But it's not likely to be more than a few years older, and he's still a top 5 heavyweight. So no reason to discredit Wilder if he wins.

I have no idea how Fearon is given the time of day by anyone involved in boxing. He's a total moron who gets nearly everything he tries to talk about wrong. He's an embarrassment to the sport and this is just another silly claim he'll make without being able to substantiate it in any way.

He's the boxing equivalent of the stupid pub bullshitter before the age of the smartphone.
