Ortiz needs to defend his title against Maidana next.

I wanna see how he takes a shot from him at 147. I also want to see how Maidana does at that weight.

Ortiz is wide open for aydins strong Power Punches. KO Aydin. Better Defense + Punch.

I think Ortiz found a weight he can really be strong and good at for a while. Roach said that he knew Ortiz was too drained at 140 and predicted a win for Ortiz against Bertor at 147. He also said Ortiz is a very strong kid and even gave Pacman some hell in sparring. This is all on The Scene btw. Anyways i think Roach knows what hes talking about, so I don't think a guy like Aydin will come in and beat Ortiz unless Ortiz just doesn't train or take the fight seriously

Ortiz by KO. It won't happen though due to HBO/Oner etc.

Mayweather's standing with the WBC is a funny old thing really isn't it? He's the Welterweight #1, he's the Light Middleweight Emeritus champions as well...yet hasn't fought in 51 weeks. You need to go to #26 Lovemore N'Dou to find a WBC ranked Welterweight that Mayweather has actually beaten o_O

How they did that to him was a crime, and then let Berto slide for almost 2 years. They rank Ortiz at#5 WW after his draw to Peterson at 140??? wtf

If Martinez was Mexican they would not have done that.

Aydin wanted no part of it. He took step aside fees from overpaid Berto and is sitting on his mandatory position for years.. in Turkey the acted like he was a true champion when got the giftdecision to claim that new found silver strap to honor b-level fighters. WBC should just remove him from their rankings due to cowardice. If Ortiz takes him too lightly he could end up quitting but if everything goes normal Ortiz will win every round until he stops him. Aydin has t-rex arms and is a slow predictable eurolevel fighter with imo much less power than his record suggests.
