E.X.A.C.T.L.Y.......... Boots fans are quick to point out that Vergil has been dropped, but refuse to look at the reality of the smaller man that hit Boots a lot more than Vergil being hit by a bigger man. Vergil rose up and found a way to a chance at getting a decision. Boots continued to get tagged by a man who didn't have the power/size to change the trajectory of opinions by the judges, otherwise, this conversation and/or fight wouldn't even be a thing. I don't like going into a fight like this hoping one fighter gets beat just to shut up the fans of that fighter, but Boots fanbase is pushing it. I have been watching Boots since the amateurs and have always enjoyed the product he puts out in the ring. Would love to see him grow as a fighter and be even half of the hyped project he's promoted as. He is good for the sport along with so many others. But I'm not going to continue to listen to clueless Man Fans act like Boxing Fans, suggesting that he is everything then belittle other fighters in similar positions as he, or better yet, more accomplished fighters. I've heard people try to make an argument that he's more valuable in the sport than Errol Spence Jr., Terence Crawford, or even Keith Thurman, who given has been inactive but still very much intriguing to even the casual boxing fan and can sell a fight as well as any active fighter.... Hell, name any other active fighter in the last decade who can fight just once in 5 years but still verbally put themself in the position to almost get a fight vs a world champion in a division he hasn't competed in (vs Tim Tszyu).
