Fights been announced who do you guys take in this one? Personally Im going with Matt Hamill. I feel Ortiz is really past it and will lose a decision here. What say you?
Depends on ortiz health i guess ortiz is in a bad slump so maybe hes gonna wake up but i hope he looses personally maybe hes gonna pull a wanderlei silva sprint that would be funny
Hamill Ortiz is broken down, his stand up is weak and he won't be able to outwrestle Hamill to a decision, so he's got no avenue to victory... unless Hamill is still seeing Bones in his dreams and is a mental wreck going into the fight.
I think Ortiz is a better fighter but he is old, his stand up is slow and his wrestling not as tenacious and relentless as it once was and could be. Nevertheless, I'm choosing Ortiz to go to the well one last time as I think Hamill is about as sloppy as there gets. Neither his striking or even his grappling impress me. Maybe if I afforded him more time I'd feel different but every time I watch him in the moment he is sloppy as ****. He is one of the few fighters who I've never really watched one of his fights twice and that is quite rare for me.

Hamill via UD...Better Wrestler, better stand up..all around Better at this point. Ortiz was very good in his day, but that was a long time ago.
If Tito has good cardio agian I think he can have Hamill even more worn out then he normally is late in the fight, get the takedown, pass and pound it out but if he has Forrest Griffin rematch cardio then I believe hes outworked to a decision. Neither can strike effectivly but Hamill is more active.
