I don't know he had a very careful stile against Arnautis before hurting him. I think that he just wasn't ready to keep his game plan under extreme pressure
Looked impressive but thats a worse version of Harris than Witter won every round against and KO'd brutally, Harris was ko'd last Feb too. We saw what happened when Witter faced Bradley/Alexander. Ortiz is operating a few levels below right now
To much to soon.Thats what i think. The crowd got to him, with Ortiz being inexperienced in such situation. He got reckless and payed the price against one of the hardest punchers in the division.Look what Ortiz was doing to Maidana, and what might of happened if he doesn't lose his focuse. Ortiz wanted to impress because of the shot that GBP gave him being the main event against a top teer fighter. We shall see what happens when Ortiz is faced with such adversity.IMO when the time comes,it will be a totaly different story.
bro...just imagine what ortiz would do to him if alexander pitter patters in the later rounds like he did in his last fight....ortiz will take his head off
Alexander didn't pitty patt Jurago with that uppercut....That punch would have literally killed Ortiz. "I shouldn't have to take shots like that":rofl
My whole point was when you get a fighter that comes along with good power/boxing ability and just some great potential to be a champ, you dont throw them in with danger right away. These are the fights that Ortiz needs to gain on his abilitys, confidence. Some guys get better with experience and being gradually tested,Ortiz did it following a loss to a top 140lber. Give Ortiz a couple more fights and he can get in there and compete with any 140lber. He can get in there right now with the champs if you ask me. I see Bradley/Alexander have peeked,Ortiz has more to show us.I see improvement, with Ortiz getting better every fight.
umm okay you fool, how are you gona compare a brawler like urango vs a slick southpaw with power like ortiz....you're a ****en clown and i'm surprised you're still on this site with all the racist bull**** you always kick.....urango keeps his head down sorta like cotto, and that means uppercuts will find a way almost everytime......
and bradleys been down before during his wild combos....so what's your point, that a fighter can't bounce back from defeat.....****en idiot, watch about 10 more years of boxing and then come back...1 year aint gonna cut it
Because he's beaten nothing but old and shot fighters and melted down against Maidana when the going got tough. These types of things have to be called into question when considering his chances against either Alexander or Bradley and rightfully so.
Ortiz quit in his fight watch it and you will see.:deal Not to mention Alexander is unified at 140 he's already the more accomplished fighter of the two
