    The whole thing is because they tried to screw Fres out of a $1M promised rematch with Chagaev. Oquendo went to court and it was ruled in his favor to get another shot at the 2nd rated WBA strap, but by then the whole tourney thing got in the way.
    Now we get the weird situation that Chagaev retired, an completely unbalanced tourney was created and some hasbeen gets the right to fight the eventual winner about 16 years post prime...

    Well i forgot that Ruiz stopped Oquendo and when i checked the stoppage ,it was kinda premature ,but the referee should have given Oquendo a chance
