This isnt about whether or not some people like this guy or some people like that guy.The fact remains no matter who you liked in this fight that Floyd KO'd a fighter with his hands down period.

The whole situation was wrong.Ortiz ****ed up,Cortez ****ed up and Floyd Jr ****ed up.

But it still remains the fact that if Floyd did not want to touch gloves again or except an apology at that moment then shack your head no and dont come forward and make like "ok,we gonna touch up" then with hardly no space between the two fighters and Ortiz's hands at his sides Floyd throws a left hook, following a right hand that eneded the fight.

Floyd didnt just want revenge with one punch to get Ortiz's attention, his intent was to end the fight with that straight right hand without a doubt. My question is,this is a fighter that says he cares about his fans...Some way of showing it.Beside everything else, why would Floyd want to end the fight like that???

It was a sneaky classless move imo.

But all that seems to matter to most posters here is the fact that "oh,Ortiz got what he deserved for headbutting" YES! he got what he deserved,a point deduction from the man in charge, the reff."Ortiz would have been KO'd soon anyway" blah blah blah.Ortiz was wrong for the butt and the reff is in the ring with the fighters for that reason. The only thing Cortez did right in this fight was take the point away from Ortiz, thats it.

I like my pros to be just that pros.fighters with some class.Mayweather Jr may be great in the ring with his skills and i love to watch them being displayed, but the man has no class period.

You know there are rules that are not in the rule books that fighters go by towards one another. Its called sportsmanship towards one another.

I am sorry, but even if your argumentation is well spoken it remains weird. People harping on about Floyds "cheap move" must be blind by own choice.

Cortez had started the action. How could Floyd be certain that Ortiz was not just setting him up for another dirty trick? Letting a guy getting close to him like that, that is taking a big risk. He did the right thing unload on him.

it's really sad and he has some avatar making fun of Floyd so when he stuff like that, it just makes him look bad.
I looked at Floyd's face many times before the punches and he never glanced at Cortez

kind of contradicting..It might be clear to you that he was about to attack, but Ortiz sure as hell didn't think floyd was going to hit him, and floyd knew this fact as well, so i still think it's a sucker punch.
