Ortiz 'We knew Floyd starts fast and fades as the fight goes on.Our plan was to take it slow and take him apart from the 6 rounds. All his fights he starts very fast'.Ortiz said this at the press conference Has Floyd ever faded or doesnt he always start slow feeling his opponents then takes over as fight goes on.Which fights was Ortiz talking about?
Floyd usually takes 2 rounds to feel his opponent Hatton,Mosley,Judah and if you wanna add Oscar but this was the defensive back pedaling Floyd. Only problem is with the Mosley fight this was a different Floyd he said before the fight he will stand toe to toe with David and he did. In the past I think Floyd was just being too cautious even when he is dominant "Baldomir" but he grew a new confidence after handling Mosley IMO. Their game plan was not the right one and as Floyd has stated "their is no blueprint to beat me" Oh and when has Floyd faded??
Lol wtf is he talking about. The exact opposite actually and Ortiz is the front runner and was about to get a Gatti type beatdown. Everybody usually has the same idea that if you're not looking good after 4 rounds vs Floyd then you not winning
Clearly Ortiz and his team didn't bother to read the scouting report. If they did, they would know not to drop your hands against Floyd. They definitely would't be spouting this nonsense.
I'm convinced Ortiz and his team don't know what's going on at all whenever they watch Mayweather's tapes. First Danny thought that it wasn't Floyd's bodyshots that made Zab gas. Now Ortiz thinks Floyd has bad stamina.
Apparently it was Garcia's plan to pick up the pressure after the 5th-6th round, which explains why Ortiz didnt start as fast as he did against Berto, I was surprised to see him wing on the outside more than usual too.
yeah man their strategy was ****. They wanted to turn the heat up after round 4 after Floyd got in his groove and got his timing down?:huh wtf is that? That's just asking to get knocked out. Floyd was looking to counter him coming in, but Ortiz wasn't giving him many oppurtnunities, but once he did, it wasn't going to look good This content is protected This content is protected
wow the second gif reminds me of a mouse trap.. As soon as floyd sees victor tense up for even a moment and come forward he springs the trap. BAM!!!!
