I don't think this is going long. Ortiz will seek and destroy. The fight will only last as long as McKinson can run. As soon as he stops to get into serious exchanges it will be lights out.
Ortiz jr is expected to win but should he make a statement I'd like to see him take on Ennis. Crawford and Spence will be tied up until late 2023 with rematch clauses if they ever get off their asses to get the fight made, which who knows anymore.
lmao! its gonna look like a man beating on a boy. wont be the least bit competitive. mckinson is getting wrecked.
not even close. just different levels of speed, power, defense and technique. there is nothing mckinson does better than ortiz. it will become painfully obvious right from rd. 1. ive seen very little of mckinson, but that was enough to see hes not in the same league.
This should be the case but as we've seen before it isn't always. Hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard. Hopefully Ortiz has a great camp and moves onto a title shot or a fight with Boots after he sleeps him.
Are we even sure ortiz can make weight? He almost died last time he tried making 147 and his team was saying he was moving to 154. I like him as a fighter, but he should move to 154
Picking Ortiz via stoppage but McKinson's brand of British Slickness, which FTR is the gold standard of slickness not that pale imitation they practice across the pond, and McKinson studied at the Portsmouth school of British Slickness which is a particularly nettlesome brand of slickness, should suck Ortiz into a vortex of bewilderment and confusion unlike he's ever seen or experienced before until he catches up to him.
Ortiz has a a great jab that he uses to set up his offense, mckinson will like run all fight, but ortiz will dominate him and stop him.
