No, he isn't right. His problem stems from not confronting his troubles to overcome them. Instead, he tries to block it out from his memory. The guy has stated that he isn't even a fight fan and doesn't follow the sport. What kind of **** is that? I know he will continue to fight and has made a lot of fans off of pity now, but I have a feeling he won't ever amount to anything with his current outlook.

In the replay, looks like victor's looking at the ref while laying there and maybe not totally out. guess i was thinking maybe ortiz was wondering whether he should get up because he might have a moral victory in a fight he was gonna lose and maybe a chance to get a commission to delcare a nc or even a dq.... but again i didn't really see enough to tell much just thought it was a possibility that he stayed down

I hate Ortiz, but I hate HBO worse for promoting this liar's joke life story that never made any sense to begin with. Then they continued other lies for him like winning the Berto fight by "Knockout victory" and "knocking down every opponent he ever faced." He should have his purse withheld, just so that he can cry some more. That I would like to see. It's no wonder he looks up to Oscar and Oscar promotes himself as his mentor. He is a media creation like Oscar was except everyone was able to see it for themselves through the lens of a 24/7.

Even in the Berto fight he had some moments where his mind disconected from the fight. I remember Berto waving him in while on the ropes and Ortiz could hardly contain his laughter. Its amazing he has made it as far as he has.
