He's significantly diminished and needs to stay out and let all of these rising HWs develop the division along with Fury, Wilder, Povetkin, etc.

Yep, I said it before the Fury fight, Wlad looked ancient against Jennings and a prime Wlad would have knocked him out.

Lots of people said after watching the Jennings fight that Wlad was in decline and I think tonight proves them right. I think he should hang up after Fury 2 whatever the result.

I give fury credit for beating wlad. he took the guys jab away and that's all wlad has done for years.

The question was whether Wlad was past it or Jennings was better than expected. The answer was the former obviously.

Shame for Pulev that he seemed to be Wlad's last top performance

    Pulev was overrated

Jennings and Fury are better fighters

It was obvious I guess that Wlad was at like 70-80% vs. Jennings. Jennings looked good because Wlad was past it, not because Jennings is a proper elite HW. Jennings was a janitor/mechanic in a bank 4 years ago for Christ's sake.

Great point. All these nuthuggers want to blame it on Wlad's age but Fury would have beat him 10 years ago. Jennings and Fury proved that Wlad can't hit a fighter who moves around the ring well. People like Pulev just stood in front of Wlad. Wlad had better keep his egg chin away from Ortiz.

When you factor in his performance vs Jennings it was a real marker for the Fury fight and especially now we've seen Jennings dismantled by exactly the kind of punches WK has been throwing most of his career but didn't in his last two fights. He's just lost the edge.

Not necessarily. I think Wlad struggled because the Ref wouldn't let him clinch excessively. Both Fury and Jennings also have a better reach than Wlad. Wlad is used to having the height and reach advantage in his fights. Against Fury he had no physical advantages and was terrified to take a risk.
