I know right, Wlad is an expert at throwing uppercuts in the pocket.

Styles make fights... Wlad has problem with lateral movements. And don't throw to the body, inside or outside. And he barely throws in combinations...

    Ortiz is quit the opposite.

Wlad still won that fight anyways...

He's an expert at throwing knockout punches, and has knocked out better people than Jennings which is the whole point. One thing however, is Ortiz was desperate to make a big statement as this was his first step up into big time heavyweight boxing, he had more incentive. Plus he's a juicer, sad thing is wlad probably needs to be on a stack at this stage too.

Jennings survived because of Wlad's lack of offensive variety, specifically uppercuts, as well as body punching.

Jennings neutralized Wlad's offense well with movement, a high guard, and not giving him the distance nor a static target to get his shots off. 2010 Wlad wouldn't have looked much better, though Wlad pre-Steward had a far better offense and would have gotten pillow-fisted Jennings out of there within 4.

If Jennings stood in front of Wlad flat-footed with his arms sticking out like Pulev did, he would have gotten KTFO, and there'd be no mention of Wlad being old and shot.

Fury won by 3 points and by landing few punches more to the head. How exactly he would beat prime Wlad, who throw more then 600 punches and land half of them ?
Now Wlad throw 100-150 punches and land less then 30% of them ....
Klitschko fought a lot of guys that was bigger then him in the past and have no problem with them.
He start decline after Many die and when Banks took charge, but hes age is the main factor. Thats why he drop the pace, hes workrate is so low and he clinch a lot more now.

Would you say Tyson in his prime would lose to Danny Willams and Kevin McBride ?
I dont think Fury will keep the title long time and fight at 39 years old too see how he would like at that age ....
Klitschko was prime in 2006-2012 with Many and when hes body was young.
After that he is past it, but he keep going because of his Lifestyle and that he is always in shape.

    :lol::lol:

You think Klitschko threw so little because he was old? He was scared to initiate. Fury did not give him a static target. He could not get his jab going, which in turn means he couldn't set up his power punches. He was afraid of Fury's counters.

It's easy to throw 600 punches against Mariusz Wach who stays in the pocket, can't counterpunch, is slow, crubersome and an oaf.

Fury bullied him into a gunshy world and always would. A younger Wlad probably does knock him out though but with a fair share of trouble.

Wladturds were on here saying Jennings would beat Fury. Anybody who understood the sport knew he was an amateur . Pillow fists by by way of poor technique and a very average skill set

Yet Fury only had a 0.0000000001% chance of winning according to you.

The best ever Wlad was deducted a point a point for illegal holding against Haye just like he was vs Jennings.

Wlad was never that good to start with.

Yeah he was monster back in the days.
And only few was so good at 39 years old ....
Pugilist_Spec, Check how much he throw with Many Steward 2006-2012 and before that and how much he throw and land after 2013.
No one talks only Fury match. And Fury is nothing special, Wlad was bad.
In a Pulev fight Klitschko throw only 89 punches and land only 39, thats told you the whole story ....
