I thought people knew not to take Boxrec ratings seriously. Thats what people been saying the past 6 years. Yet we still get a thread about there ratings on the:

    regular.

Based on the ranking, I care not to look at the list.

This sounds a little too much like letting VH1 rank the top performing music artist, to use an analogy.

DLH, though within the top 50, doesn't come close to crackin' the top 20, IMO.

  6. PPL always seem to sell DLH short the guy was a world champ after 10 pro fights and he is a 6 weight champ only ever losing to a roided up Mosley and a ATG MW B-Hop but still lasted 9 roundsin his prime

Lost to a competative fight with an ATG PBF while past his best and Manny while totally shot

    Oscar is not top 100.

It is boxrec - forget about it.

Boxrec is known for being programmed to favor American and Latino fighters.

Lacy was no. 1 on boxrec ahead of Kessler and Calzaghe before he fought Calzaghe. Why? Because he picked up a lot of points from American no-hopers. Calzaghe and KEssler fought guys like Veit, Haussler, Beyer etc. who were european and therefore hardly gave any points.

Another example - Floyd is no 24 on boxrec list, while Manny is much further down. This despite Manny having done a lot to collect points by fighting latinos. But since Floyd has done that his entire carreer he is ahead.

No real complaints. If it's from a computer, it must be trustworthy.

To Hell what all these "eyewitness accounts" have to say about it. Everyone knows that's the least reliable form of evidence, anyways.
