But Moo boy claimed to be WBC MIDDLEWEIGHT CHAMP also the Lineal Middleweight champ both are fought at 160 aren't they ??? That was till he was called to defend against GGG then Oscarina & MooMoo meekly handed over the bogus belt. Moonelo STILL hasn't LEGITIMATELY beaten GGG or LEGITIMATELY win any titles.

No, he should've fought for his title at middleweight not 155, he had plenty of 'middleweight' fights.

Its not MW unless you can make the full MW limit. It was called caneloweight for a reason. Now fanboys want to pretend caneloweight is MW cos it suits their argument. Cotto and Khan were NOT MW fights and they were not MW opponents. Its sad and embarrassing to be a jock strap holding fanboy.

Well it was middleweight, he had a middleweight belt. I'm not changing anything to suit my argument, there's evidence and facts for mine, your the one trying to say that a man who defended a middleweight belt a good 3/4 times, wasn't a middleweight.

Those fights are meaningless because the belt was hijacked when Cotto saw an opportunity to snatch it from an old one legged Martinez.

Its not middle weight if you impose a catchweight that restricts the other guy from weighing in at the full MW limit , and thats what Cotto and Canelo did.

If it was really a MW contest , then the opponent would've been allowed weigh in up to 160.

Fighting at 155 doesn't make you a MW , because the MW limit is 160.

Golovkin was Canelos' FIRST fight at 160. Thats a fact.

He fought against Chavez Jr. to acclimatize himself to the higher weight against a bigger opponent. You don't prepare for a run at MW by fighting welters.

Canelo simply did not duck Golovkin because he deserved a to take a tune-up at the weight first. Same as Golovkin would have wanted if he had fought Ward.

He did Duck him, it's plain and simple. I'll tell you how I know,
https://www.boxinginsider.com/columns/canelo-giving-wbc-belt/. It's well documented that Canelo dropped his belt, rather than fight a true 160er, or more specifically GGG. Blah blah blah, you can chat all that sh*t about how he never had a fight a 160, he had the opportunity to whilst he was defending his MW belt. Be real would it have effected the out come of Khan or Cotto, no, not imo. Took Floyd's hand book and added his own plays,

Step 1- wait until they get old before fighting them
    Step 2- fight defensively
Canelo's own- Pay off judges for blatant robberies
Canelo's own 2- Eat helpful Mexican Meat

He should have dropped that belt earlier because he made it clear he wasn't moving up and fighting Golovkin for his first fight at MW. If you were around at the time you'd know that.
The fight was always going to happen , and it eventually did , TWICE , so its just pure pathetic fanboyism to claim he ducked because GGG didn't get the fight when he demanded it.
There's almost 10 years age difference between them and they were separated by different weight classes for most of their careers. The timing was never going to perfect for them to fight. It could have been a lot worse , he could have waited till now.

I'm going to say it one more time and then I'm done.

CANELO WAS A MW CHAMPION, regardless of my opinion or yours, this is a fact, it's also a fact he weighed between 154-160 so he was fighting at MW. He didn't want to fight him and vacated to not fight him. That is all facts, nothing you can say will change any of this.

Nobody apart from a few internet losers will ever remember Canelo as a guy that ducked Golovkin. Im telling you that right now.

Get this into your head as well , he defended the MW belt that came with defeating Cotto at a catchweight of 154 -155. There was no going past 155 so its not a fact he or Khan weighed between 154-160. Thats a lie you posted because you don't any better.
When the limit is capped at 155 , it ceases to be MW.
