What exactly don't I understand about this sport, I've literally been watching it all of my life... Can you dispute any of what I posted above? If not, then it seems that you're the one who lacks understanding of the sport of boxing. Not even sure where to begin with that fabricated trash that you posted above.


Lemmy is 1 dimensional, I'm not sure why this upsets you, this is simply fact. He comes forward and tries to unload on his wide telegraphed hooks which can easily be evaded if you have a bit of boxing skill and stay on the outside. If you can only fight 1 way and can't adapt when that style isn't working guess what... YOU'RE ONE DIMENSIONAL.

He's been unified champ for 3 years, from October 2015 until September 2018 when he lost to Canelo. The fact that you say he fought all comers is laughable, until he fought Jacobs, his resume was abysmal, they didn't call him king of bumland for no reason. You call it taking on all comers when in reality he hid in a very weak division for a number of years feasting on fighters who were 20 to 1 underdogs, might as well have fought mannequins with those odds, but you **** boy's want to say that those vacant titles were hard earned? He's done nothing but stall his career waiting for handouts from other fighters, lost, then complained when things didn't go his way. Once the MW division started heating up, he's nowhere to be found, still looking for more handouts...

GGG wasn't close to beating any records, stop it. The record of the lineal MW title is still 14 defenses by the legendary Carlos Monzon, GGG has never won the lineal or undisputed titles. He won the full version of the WBA title in 2013 during his fight with Gabe Rosado once Daniel Geale vacated the real WBA belt. The record for total MW defenses is still held by Bernard Hopkins with 20, GGG's interim or secondary belts don't count as defenses.

 

I don't think he's looking past Jacobs, but Oscar may be.

 

Jacobs is the tougher fight for him, all his focus should be on that fight and nothing else.

 

Canelo said he wanted GGG @ 160 after the Khan fight but when it came down to it he chickened out. & meekly handed back the bogus title . He just might pop dirty again to put the Jacobs fight off
