Oscar looked decent against Forbes... for an old, inactive, past prime fighter. His face was marked to hell, and he showed NO foot movement like he used to in that fight. It isn't like he looked like 1997 version Oscar in the ring that night, is it? For that matter... Oscar hasn't looked like that in quite some time.
Double standards. If RJJ loses weight its no big deal. If it's Oscar he is weight drained. And again DLH may have faced Forbes, but still the simple fact that he faced such a small guy is embarrassing and to complicate things he then fought another 130 pounder and quit in his stool. Jesus, Mary and Joseph. Give it a rest Oscarsexuals.
Excatly. I'd rather be Ko'd by a natrually bigger man than a Fly weight. This loss to Pac only hurts an already questionable career. He didn't even win a round.
Oscar's days as a top fighter are long gone, no doubt. But still.....HE AINT GOIN" OUT LIKE THAT!! Oscar farewell going out party '09!!! :hammertimeartytime:clown:secretarty And who knows, maybe he will somehow find his fountain of youth and win one last big one!
To those who say Oscar lost his big fights, his career does not start post-Trinidad, you dumb newb ****s. To those who say he lost to a smaller man. It's the a future atg Pacquaio we're talking about, the same one who will smoke Hatton. I'd rather see Hoya retire at this point but his ATG status has been secured for some time now.
Maybe, just maybe, there's a possibility that the reason Oscar lost is perhaps because Pac is a fighter you can call great and not because of the weight. Oscar and co should already be quite knowledgeable and experienced enough by now in dealing with weight problems in training. We're talking about a 6-DIVION world champ and HOF trainers who have been in the business for a long time already. And even if Oscar was weight drained or shot he should have at least still won the first few rounds or even minutes of the fight wherein he was still fresh. I just think Pac deserves some if not full credit here.
