Yeah because had Golovkin not looked human in the Kell Brook and Daniel Jacobs bouts, Oscar would have still made that fight last year. Totally.

    - You said he doesnt make many good fights. He does.

    - You say he makes a lot of bad ones. Ya so does every other promoter. He does not exceed them in this area. Pretty much a non point.

    - You say he doesnt have many good fighters. Hes based out of the US, and in the US, only one other promotion has a much better stable. Hes certainly comparable to his peers in that regard with the rest of the pack. Who has a better U.S stable besides Top Rank.... Main Events? DiBella?

So.... Oscar 'is a cancer to boxing', because.... he doesnt have many good fighters? But the ones he does have, he puts in pretty damn good and dangerous matchups. But hes 'a cancer to boxing'? Pretty over the top dont you think?

You arent saying anything of actual substance when you say Oscar is 'a cancer' and try to single Oscar out from the pack as being the worst, if your only real claim is that he just doesnt have many good fighters and he makes bad fights, because the facts are he isnt any worse than his peers in that regard.

I would say out of all the reasons someone could say Oscar is worse than his peers is that his out of the ring life can have a habit of effecting his business, which you dont really see with any of the other major players. But that is hardly the issue you are bringing up and doesnt go to legitimizing the statement that oscar is a cancer or that he is by far the worst promoter.

Thats just some dude on twitter. The only date Arum has put forward in May12th and if that doesn't happen he has Beltran ready to go instead

“Maybe we can work it out so that they can still get a good audience for that and we can still go ahead [with Lomachenko-Linares] on the 12th. The 12th is very important for us because ESPN wants it for that date because it’s right in the middle of the NBA playoffs. We’d have a tremendous lead-in to a Lomachenko-Linares fight.”

Never ceases to amaze me the lengths this malignant tumor will go in performing mental gymnastics and bending the truth to fit his warped narrative.

April 28 was the first date mentioned by Arum.

SO Linares ducked? What happens if they work something out within the next few weeks , will Hoya still be 'cancer'?
And if it doesn't happen next , its bound to happen later in the year. You're throwing your toys out of the pram and labeling people with degenerate remarks over nothing.

    King only cared about Tyson

    Arum only cared about Pacquiao

    Oscar only cares about Canelo

Forget about the rest of their pawns. They can battle it out amongst themselves

I doubt the whole Canelo BS is sitting well with a Oscar - true warrior and sportsman in the ring, and never used his A-side to handicap the opponent

Canelo won the belt in nov 2015, GGG was awarded the belt in May of 2016. Personally the year delay isn’t that big of a deal

I completely agree, but I think why Oscar is being singled out is that some of us really did hope that he would be different, not the third man to make up the unholy trinity of Arum and King. Hell, King has murdered men and been sued by may of his fighters. Arum has been raided by the fbi. But at least we knew what to expect with them.
Rather than being worse in terms of morals I think it’s more of a matter of greater expectations not only not having been met but the opposite of those expectations.
