De La Hoya a punk? Doesn't his resume speak for itself? The dude has faced so many future Hall of Famers and/or very good fighters and really hasn't ducked anyone. I'm sure he won't be facing a bum in December. Love him or hate him, I thought everyone at least respected his level of opposition.

No, i wouldnt call DLH a punk b/c he has already fought the best out there. I dont want to name any names but you all know who the punk is if he doesnt fight the winner of cotto vs marg. regardless of wins or losses, DLH has a string of HOF fighters he's been in the ring with already. If he fights the winner, it will just add to his already great resume. however, OTHER FIGHTER(s) STILL need a name like Cotto or Marg to be considered what the want/claim to be considered.

You've been on a roll lately....talking out of your ass with impunity Cotto/Margarito is a high profile fight and both fighters should come out of this with some decent name recognition. The winner of this fight will probably become a bigger PPV draw Pac so DLH's take($$$) will be pretty much the same with any of these guys. Also, fighting the winner of Cotto/Margarito would enhance his legacy and his pockets where as a fight with Pac would only be good for his bank account. Either way, I glad DLH is finally including Margarito on his list of possible opponents!

If Oscar is a Punk, what does that make Floyd who pulled out of his rematch with DLH and retired in his prime? A punk wouldn't of gone 12 rounds against PBF and done what he did to Floyds face. At least Hoya is talking about fighting Cotto. He won't take Margo if he wins, he doesn't want to go out getting destroyed. But it's not like other top fighters avoided Margo for there own reasons. What other promoter is out there fighting top competition?
