Bonavena was very hot and cold throughout his career. Sometimes he looked very good, while other times he was simply stiff and awkward. The man had a ton of strength though and a big heart, both attributes Bobick lacked. Bobick was a better boxer but Oscar likely wins an easy decision, maybe a stoppage.
Bonavena knocks him out with a left hook, just one in the 4th or 5th round, to the side of the head, and Bobick takes the count of 10.
Duane wouldn't hurt Oscar and Ringo would just keep coming on to Duane, chest to chest. Bobick would land his skilled short right hand on Oscars head, but Oscar wouldn't notice it much. Oscar just might stop Duane in this one.
Oscar wins this by seventh, sixth round stoppage.Duane was good, but not that good, and Oscar would show him the ropes en route.
Bobick's key problem was that his defence didn't match his chin. Offensively, he was a real prospect, but he was in trouble when facing a good puncher who knew how to land. And when he got hit, his survival skills were poor. Bonavena's biggest single strength was the ability to stick to a gameplan. That's why he gave Frazier and Ali plenty of problems, despite being B-level in his fundamentals. I see him letting Bobick coming straight at him and just meeting Bobick head-on with his superior power and chin. At some point, he lands a counter through Bobick's defence, applies pressure, and puts him away.
