Oscar and Canelo are more confused than Scooby Doo.

One minute Canelo is moving down, then up, then he is a definite 154 fighter, then he is possibly fighting BJS at 160 in December but remember "bottom line Canelo is a 154 pounder".

This has been such a long drawn out poor attempt at damage control since Canelo handed Golvokin his jewellery they have made things so much worse.

They should have just moved back down to 154 which to be fair they have but then stuck to the claim Canelo is a light middleweight and just talked about other 154 fighters until if and when they move to full 160 limit.

They shouldn't even mention Golovkin, Saunders and anybody else at 160. Go fight the likes of Andrade, Charlo, Lara, prove you're the great fighter you claim to be and shut the critics up that way.

You shut the **** up you bet welching coward

Supporting that cowardly piece of **** simply cause he's Mexican :-(

Always thought you were a true Marquez fan cause you admired what an incredible ATG he was.... turns out you're just a typical idiot who'll defend anyone from his country regardless of how pitiful their actions are

He's disgraced your proud countries boxing history with his cowardice, yet instead of calling him out on it you defend him, and even attack the most ducked man in boxing. Shame on you

All he had to do was to relinquish the belt after Cotto by saying he wasn't a true MW but the opportunity to fight Cotto was too good to turn down. Nobody would have had a problem with that.

It was a joke to request a voluntary to fight Khan and to give everyone the impression that he was open to fighting GG afterwards. Now both he and Oscar look really bad. But there was just no need for any of that to play out.

When you fight guys people actually consider good close fight's happen, you can't name one fighter in history who consistently fights top comp that has never been in a 50/50 fight.
Regardless Trout got beat up and dropped and Lara ran the second his body started to get touched.
Fact is Alvarez since reaching the scene has sought up the best in his division, him not immediately moving up to face a guy who himself is afraid to move up doesn't negate that.
Look at the TNBR right now Alvarez has wins over the #3MW, #1,#5 & soon #8 JMW, and the #3 WW all of which would be the best or one of the best wins on damn near everyone from 47-60's resume yet he is scared of tough fight's get serious.

Y'all taking about Lara who lost and ran from Alvarez already or the Charlos didn't one arguably lose to A.Trout a few weeks ago that fight was closer than Alvarez-Trout and the other was losing until a late stoppage? The only guy at 54 I'm worried about is Andrade who could be a big problem if he gets more active.

He's petrifed of Golovkin. Golovkin turns his cojones to raisins, despite Canelo being BIGGER than Gennady

"Get in here I'll fight him right now!!!!"

Golovkin enters the ring..... Canelo hides under Oscar's skirt

Be a real boxing fan. If a guy from my country ducked another fighter so blatantly id be embarrassed. I'd either shut up or call him out on it. Can you imagine Chavez, Morales or Marquez vacating their belt like that?

Amir Khan???? Not only a welterweight but the glassiest jaw in boxing????

Liam Smith???? Who???? THIS is who he's choosing for Mexican Independence Day? :patsch

    You're happy with this???

Canelo never used to be a coward i'll give him that. Never used to duck anyone. But he's become one of the biggest jokes in boxing. Yet you continue to defend him and attack Gennady, cause you're butt hurt that Gennady's made your boy such a laughing stock. Instead of attacking Gennady be a real fight fan and quit supporting the actions of the coward that ducked him

Reading your above post..... since you're now so confident he'll beat Golovkin in 2017 i'll ask you again - $100 Golovkin beats him

Come on bet welcher. Show that you really believe the garbage you spout

Canelo will fight Golovkin, I'm pretty confident of that. It will be either next year or in 2018.

Canelo has proven to be one of the most fearless top fighter in the sport.

Good boy will get a Canelo pay day, don't worry. It will be Golovkin's retirement money.

If you believe that Canelo is afraid of any fighter, then you're not being real.

I think it's funny how Golovstans obsess over Canelo...

54-68 yet consistantly finds reason's or excuses to not make fight's. Now you might say something about unifying and I'll reply with Kell Brook?W.Monroe, was in talks with Eubank etc You may try an rationalise it by saying Brook was big money, and I'll say well don't y'all consider it a duck when other fighters chooses bigger money fight's over Golovkin?

I mean jeez I wasn't a fan of the Khan fight but Khan has fought better fighters and arguably has a better WW resume than Brook in only 3 fights, you may say he's unbeaten and bigger but facts show both second day weight is the same and Kell has fought one good fighter ever and struggled at that.

    Bingo.

They could've easily avoided all this, but they wanted to dangle the carrot of a GGG fight in front of fans to sell the Khan one.

The backlash is deserved, not because Canelo isn't fighting GGG, but because they had the perfect opportunity to vacate the title and move down with zero repercussions and chose to play boxing fans instead.

On another note, 154 is frustrating as hell to follow. There's some talent there, much of it under Al's stable, but the only guys we get to see square off against them are Vanes and Trout. This would've been the perfect time for Canelo to take on a Charlo or Andrade.
