    Give it a rest man.

You can't say he's afraid to move up just because he hasn't yet. He's made it clear he won't commit to moving up until he's accomplished his MW goals.

Kell Brook is just a big money keep busy fight that was a last minute replacement for Eubank, which both satisfies HBO and gives him an opportunity to broaden his fan base.

Eubank was his initial target as Canelo wouldn't fight him, and neither would Jacobs or Saunder's at this point.

Is this what it's come down to? Labelling guys as being afraid because they haven't done certain things?

    It's nonsense.

I can assure you that GG will move up before he retires. What are you going to say then? That he was afraid but then found his b*lls etc?

Dude when you call out 3 division claim everyone is scared of you then back down or create excuses when actual good fighters call you out what else would you call it?

We can agree to disagree its cool sports would suck if everybody had the same opinion, but your basically giving GGG a pass for stuff you bash other guys for.
Everyone was up in arms when Alvarez's team said 90-10 but when GGGs team says anybody looking to make a mil or more is likely not getting the fight is a duck in the other guys part.

I've said it multiple times I was a GGG fan from his US debut til probably just after the Rubio fight at that point it became apparent he's mostly talk.
You may not agree but everyone is entitled to there opinion, I'm not happy Alvarez-GGG isn't next but you guys who claim Golovkin is so ducked can't name one concession GGG has every did to try and make a big fight.

You really think HBO would have trouble putting a fight from one of there "stars" off a week or 2 weeks especially for a fight that isn't even signed and isn't a PPV come on man. Everybody has a reason for this and that eventually you gotta look at the common denominator.

Explain to me how GGG not going from 60-68 to fight Ramirez citing hr needs to build his name is different from Canelo not going from 54-60 to fight GGG for that same reason? A belt Eubank doesn't have a belt and neither does Brook. MW legacy? Look at how the last 3 true MW Champs became the top Champ they all gave to get bigger.

    Who's he backed down from?

    What excuses?

Again, regarding the purse of his opponents, it depends on many factors.

What concessions should he have made? Canelo, Jacobs and Saunder's don't want to fight him. He'll definitely have to make concessions to try and get Billy's belt though. I think he'll go all out next year to get that belt.

Regarding HBO, no, they wouldn't have just given him a new date a few weeks in advance. Their fight nights are scheduled months in advance. The date of Sept the 10th was put in place at the beginning of the year. HBO would like him to fight another 2 fights this year.

Regarding Canelo and Ramirez, isn't the answer to your question obvious? Canelo held the WBC lineal MW title and GG was his mandatory. Instead of relinquishing the belt after he beat Cotto, he put in a voluntary request to fight Khan and gave everyone the impression that he was going to negotiate to fight GG in a huge unification afterwards. The circumstances between GG and Ramirez are vastly different.

Yes, neither Brook or Eubank have MW belts. What's your point? Brook is a keep busy fight because the other top MW's won't face him.

:patsch It's called a trainer hyping his guy. Is this the first time you've encountered a trainer or promoter who says crazy stuff about their guy?

What this says is, you are buying into the hype. Buying in negatively, but buying in nonetheless.

FFS.... How the heck do some posters just say such silly $hit? Just get a new date from HBO, as if it;'s just that easy?

It's questions like that I take note of, and who asked them, then I know who's not very trustworthy.

Not really... If you're honest with yourself you will see that the Golovstans are very spiteful and angry.

Personally, I like to debate, especially like exposing unreasonable Fanboys.

How is that any different than ggg choosing to remain at a weight in which there is no good competition?

Canelo won the belt 1 lb above JrMW against Cotto who won the belt at a CW, and also defended his belt at a CW, and then Canelo fought with the title on the line at another CW.

Sounds like pretty legit MWs to me :patsch

I can post him a link where Virgil Hunter was interviewed in 2009.

    He said:

"By the time Andre is 32, he'll be a HW champion"
