Oscar has a great resume, certainly in terms of quality of opponent that he has faced. I think he was unlucky against Trinidad and Mosley, but he got a gift against Sturm and arguabley Quartey, so it all balances out.

I know SRR-Oscar was done, but it could also be done this way (though it's longer)

    Oscar - Hopkins - Jones - Ruiz - Holyfield - Foreman - Ali - Patterson - Maxim - SRR

That is such bull**** saying he got a gift against Sturm. It is Sturm's OWN FAULT he lost that fight, it was there for him. He refused to get busy, Oscar threw a bunch of punches that didn't hurt him but still got there and he got the points win, as he should have.

Funny how myths take root. It wasn't even a hard decision, I was at the fight and Oscar clearly won it. Had Sturm bothered himself to do anything except stick the jab out all night long it would have been different, but he didn't. He just plain didn't want it bad enough to take it.
