    Oscar lost to Whitaker, Quartey, Sturm, Mosely 2 times, Hopkins, Mayweather. When ever De La Hoya stepped up and fought a half way decent black or white figther he lost. But De La Hoya is mexican though so everything about him is built up by americans

    I love watching DLH fights he was very exciting to watch, but he is one of the most one handed fighters ive ever seen, he had no right hand.

    Oscar was a beast in the nineties, no doubt. But two facts still remain:

    1) He lost to every top fighter.
    2) Major fights like Mayweather, Hopkins, and Pacquiao were made for financial reasons, not necessarily because Oscar deserved to fight them.

    Well wasent he the champ at 154. And when he fought hopkins he was the WBO champ at 160 although his win against Sturm was in doubt.
