I would like to answer this thread as both are my 2 all time favorites. Thats saying alot cause i have about 10 others that i admire almost as much as these 2.

BUt your questions have too many ridiculous variables, so i choose not to answer.

DLH's resume is top 70-60, tops. You think it would leap 50 spots just because he looked and acted different?

Pachilles is quickly becoming the biggest ****** on the forum. Pointless threads, unknowledgable comments, **** attitude.

In short I hope he ****s off ASAP

Its a really, really simple concept with straightforward questions. But i understand, you are not physically, mentally or emotionally capable of considering the fact that maybe Duran is not actually the 3rd coming and is vastly overrated.

You dont think a fighters personality effects his ranking with passionate, loving fans? You dont think DLH was more successful than Duran against their elite, HOF-future HOF opposition? You dont think DLH fought a greater amount of elite HOF-future hall of fame opposition?

Its absolute ****ing fact you mongoloid halfwit!!

If ive understood correctly,De la hoya would be a mega mega superstar if he achieved what duran did,and he would be talked about in the same breath as robinson, armstrong and co...
Duran would be villified as an all talk an no action bully if he had oscars resume,a kind of 'rich mans millionaire' mayorga,so to speak...
Oscar would be forgiven for no mas as i think he would explain what happened, and the future wins would redeem him, oscar not being a big mouth would also help him to be forgiven for quitting.
Duran would be crucified for fighting like a 'ninny' against whitaker after having promised to eat his liver at the weigh in,and so fans would go for sweet pea for the decision.
De la hoya beat better opposition, and possibly fought more greats, duran lost to many greats, which is the crucial thing.
    Is that OK?
Note: That might be confusing to folks who havent read the premise of the thread, and so i will clarify:
The 'real' roberto duran is a fistic ****in genius, the worlds greatest living boxer and p4p the equal of any in history.
De la hoya is a boxer, there the similarities end...
