I have always assumed that Chavez held the PFP title at some point in his career.

he has lived the "american dream".

i was'nt a fan of hoya back when he was in his prime, but he was great for the sport. since i started watching boxing, his was always the marquee name like tyson. i will miss him when he calls it a career.

Mike Tyson has been reported that he earned around 300 million in his career. it wouldnt surprise if DLH, the richest boxer in history, made half a billion in his career.

*(Half a BILLION not a TRILLION)

My dad and I went there today. A lot of press was there. Sad to see him go, but it's the right decision. He was one of my favorite fighters to watch.

It's all over for Oscar's career and upon reading the headline on ESPN today I was disappointed, but Oscar's had a great career, and despite me wanting him to go on and give boxing what he's been giving it the past 15 years or so, it was time for Oscar to retire, he's had a great career and he's going to have a great career with his promoting. I wish him the best.

very overrated fighter, the only thing I will miss about him is not being able to bet against him in his big fights....he was overrated time after time and I was happy to mop up on the other side. Overall it went well.
It's good riddance to bad rubbish as far as i'm concerned, unfortunately we're gonna have to put up with his BS and phoneyness for years to come with the promotional stuff and BS pay-per-views.

overrated. over hyped. very good fighter. but HBO was in love with him.

10 time world champion in 6 weight divisions my ASS
we are counting the WBO back then?

    WBO 130
    WBO 135
WBO 160 (got his ass kicked by sturm)

had rematches with the guys he chose to.

where were the rematches with Trididad, Quartey and Whitaker?

he feasted on alot of smaller fighters early on

when he was 135 pounder he fought alot of former aging featherweights in Paez, Dorsey ect
when he was a welterweight he fought old lightweights...

when he would fight for a major title he seemed to take on the weaker of the 4 champs that were running around.

he fought alot of big names..all at the end of their career (chavez, whitaker, camacho)

just have never been impressed......he has alot of great NAMES on his resume, but also has a ton of **** fights on there

he was the most perfectly maneuvered guy in boxing history
