Ok, we all saw what happened with the Joan Guzman MESS this last weekend, and the final costs of it. Showtime lost out, DKP lost out, and the Lightweight Champ was left without a fight. I sincerely hope that Natedogg gets either Marquez, or a GUARANTEED big $$$ shot at the winner of Marquez-Diaz. But this **** was all over 3 pounds.

3 pounds that Guzman, at his age, had some problems with. Oscar was 150&1/2 pounds in May. If he makes that weight again, it will cost his tightwad ass a whopping 12 million smackeroos!!!:yep So there is NO ****ING way Oscar will allow this. The man would probably castrate himself rather than give up 12 million to Manny Pac.

My feelings are that Oscar probably rehydrated to about 155-157 on fightnight. And following the fight, the months of June-Sept, he probably went up to a natural 165 or so, the man is 5'11.

If he was 165 on Sept. 1, thats 18 solid pounds he has to lose by December 5th. My feelings are that he will be at 150 &1/2 again probably, say by December 1. Then, for 3 days, he will be sitting on a toilet, shitting water. And skipping rope inside of a Sauna, wearing plastic suits.

This will mean he makes the 147, and looks gaunt, by December 5th. He saved himself the cash, but the dehydrading, and rehydrading will take it's toll on his body, via stamina, and his legs. By the 5th, he will be tired in there.

well if he did make 147 then that alone makes guzman a very irresponsible fighter, nevermind if he gets in the ring tired, atleast he honors the weigh in.

BewareofDawg ... Jack tells the truth about Oscar and you call it obsession. It looks like you are the one obsessed. Anything in a negative tone about your mighty God and you always are the first one to pop up and call whoever said it is obsessed. You have to realize that Jack speaks truth. You should try it sometime. It will set you free! FREE! Then the obsession will drift away and you will see the light , even through those rose-colored fishnets. Try it. The truth never hurts.
By the way Oscars an *******! And that's the truth!!!!

Solid points JP. It's going to be difficult for Oscar to make that weight.

Jokes aside, ODLH is in for a nightmare. Nobody gets down to 147 after 7 years and at his advanced age, is able to deliver. Either way, Oscar will stretch himself to a point beyond which the only way possible and conceivable is to slow down fast and pay the price, or he will sustain the action with his spirit but will not have nothing like an edge in power, not even with his famous left hook. Once again and more than in any other circumstances, Oscar relies on his famous left jab and on his chin. Manny will throw more, land more and if not have Oscar in trouble, at least take all the gas from his lungs before round 9.

comments above make a lot of sense..

but...oscar will get down...he will have the right team around him etc...he's got everything at his disposal...it can be done and he'll do it...

    saying that...good comments above..

So you think Oscar's **** weighs 3.5 pounds? Who says you can't say something nice about the man! Very nice of you to give the guy that much credit for his dick when you have no knowlege of it. Wait, do you actually know something about that??? You are pretty obsessed with him....

And not to be too nit-picky, but if Oscar weighs in at 150.5, that'll cost him 10.5 million at most, not 12. Right? The agreement is "3 million for every pound over weight" and if that's taken as "full pound" rounding down half pounds, it'll "only" cost Oscar 9 million.

Personally I think Oscar will weigh in at 148-149, pay Manny 3-6 million and ***** slap him to the canvas in the first round and declare himself the new p4p king. :D
