The voice of reality is that Oscar De la Hoya doesn't have to agree to **** if he doesn't want to. He calls the shots and can pretty much enforce what stipulations he pleases. If he negotiates a weight of 147lbs it's because he knows he can make it. Thats the reality you ****ing 70yr old Teeny bopper :deal

    70? The reality is this.

Oscar de la Hoya is a notorious tightwad who counts cans of Salmon on the pantry at GBP Headquarters, and marks his liquor bottles at home. There is NO ****ING WAY he is going to give up 12 million in purse moneey to the Filipino, as this means that Manny beat him in negotiations. AND he cannot make 147 SAFELY anymore, dickless. You Oscarsexual ***s seem to have some heartburn with this. Now go play in the street. :deal

Manny Pac had no leverage and got bent over the negotiating table the same way Floyd did. Only in his case Roach took some of the ass pounding also because Oscar is pissed off at him! You say Oscar is such a tightwad, then why would he agree to give up money for coming in over 147lbs if he can't make the weight??????? Answer is, he can make it and knows it won't be a problem.

70 was an exaggeration, the "teeny bopper" part was the point I was trying to get across :good

If he didn't care about giving up money, then the negotations wouldn't have almost fell part because he demanded 70% of the purse.

There's a difference between giving money and losing money.

Losing money/giving up money.....basically the same thing for a successful businessman, which Oscar is.

It's taking millions from his pockets, and he hates that. What successful businessman (or anyone for that matter) doesn't hate that?

There were reports he was already near the contractual weight. I think he's been monitoring his weight for a while now since the Forbes fight in anticipation of the botched Floyd rematch. I don't believe he'll be too drained come Dec.

I'm trying to think of the guys who went down in weight after while, at an advanced age, and performed at a high level.

Ray Leonard, at 34, had been fighting at middleweight and up since 1987, and went back to 154 for the Terry Norris fight and got hammered.

Roy Jones, at 34, went to heavyweight and dropped back down, and hasn't looked good since.

That being said, Oscar is dropping less weight than the others above, and he's fighting a much smaller guy. Norris was a legitimate junior middle (although a small one) and Tarver a legitimiate light-heavyweight. They weren't guys jumping up two divisions a la Pacquiao. Shane Mosley is a guy who's been performing at a high level at an advanced age, fighting at both 147 and 154.

I was surprised by how slim DLH looked when he was shown on camera during the Marquez-Casamayor fight.

You are the UNDISPUTED king of the Oscarsexuals, Beware, and the VP of the Jack Presscot Fanclub on top of that. You are calling me a teenybopper? Thats like Rosie o' Donnel calling Roseanne Barr a pig. Oscar, like his gay, disillusioned fanbase is disillusioned himself. In his mind he can, pushing 37, still make 147 safe. Can he make 147 on Dec. 5th? Sure. But he is going to look like Eva Longoria after that NBA Monster ****ed her all night, and she barfed up her breakfast to prevent weight gain.

He looked about mid 160's to me. Which is his natural walk around weight, at 5'11. Even if he has been binging and purging, and using Milk of Magnesia by the bucketful, my guess is he wont be at 150 until the very last couple of days of November.

Who did Eva Longoria ****, Yao Ming? That I'd like to see! Oscars gonna make the weight no problem, remove Pacs hideous mustache with a left hook and then punk out Floyd about needing money and running scared. :yep

Or if by some miracle performed by whatever god those Filipinos worship Pac wins this fight. Floyd will come out and fight Pac at a catchweight b/w 140-147 and it will be the greatest fight of our generation :nut . Floyd by one-sided, embarassing UD :deal

Floyd vs. ANYONE 154 and under us a one sided embarrassing UD, except when that ***gor Kascmarek does the scoring, with his newly diagnosed late stage Glaucoma.

Sounds to me like Floyd is gonna get the winner, regardless.

Why would Floyd fight Oscar after he beats Pac but not before? Doesn't make sense to me. I think if Pac wins Floyd will fight him for sure, but if Oscar wins Floyd may still tell him to **** off.
