I agree it seems like Oscar will focus more on making weight than training for Pac. Conditioning should never be more important than technical preparation.

He will have to pay millions if he doesn't make the weight so that is considerable incentive to make the weight.
He was born in 1973 so that makes him 35 not 37.

"Pushing" 37. Means he is close to it. It aint 1999 there anymore fellas. That 147 OScar would have beaten Manny. But not now. Too old. And he is far too cheapass to let Manny have 3 million a pound.

He didn't look that bad, although you see the difference those 3.5 lbs. were from the Mayweather and Forbes weigh-in. DLH looked healthier at 154 at the weigh-in, but still, no worse than Pacquiao did for some weigh-ins at 130 (Barrera rematch). Still wonder how he's gonna look like close to 147 though.

Gotta give credit to these old guys right now though. Oscar, hopkins, jones jr, calzaghe. They look a lot better at their ages than fighters used to. I just watched the Leonard/Norris fight and Leonard was 34 but his reflexes, speed, footwork were all COMPLETELY gone. Very sad fight that was.

The 1st! I booed, and then turned my back as Oscar hit the scales.
