Oscar de la Hoya biography...you can't hate a guy like him

That guy belongs in an insitution for the mentally ill, he is genuinely deranged. He isn't funny at all, its very sad and pathetic that he has devoted his life to taking cheap shots at someone else, who is 1000X the man that he will ever be. If that someone that people here put on a pedestal, then they have even bigger problems themselves.

I thought that was Shelley Finkel.

Finkel helped pay for his mother's hospital bills when she was dying.

Of course, I highly doubt Finkel was helping with the medical bills out of the goodness of his heart and not thinking about what a cash cow Oscar would become later.

 

Oscar was the only American boxer who won the gold medal back in 1992.

I don't like how Oscar is inserting himself into another big-money fight with Floyd Mayweather. But I do respect his talent and willingness to fight the best. The guy has made it to the very top of the sport from a financial stanpoint and performance standpoint, which is a big accomplishment considering his humble beginnings.

 

We never got to see the best of Oscar and now it's purely about the money.

 

Get in the ring and earn the money yourself you ****ing idiot... The man deserves the money, he has fought hard his whole life. If you even knew the SLIGHTEST thing about boxing, you would realise just how hard a sport it is, and that the guys at the Top PAY THEIR DUES.

I haven't even read this thread... but I bet that Lance Uppercut has mentioned the unproven nonsense **** accusations placed against him by money hungry whores. As if Oscar has to go over to Mexico and **** dirty bitches.:-(

Any REAL **** victim would be seeking justice, not cash. Let alone the fact that Oscar and everyone involved has always DENIED ever paying any cash settlements. Those are just false rumors anyways. The judge said he threw the claim out because there was no actual evidence against him, and the woman who accused him never even came to present her case in court. In the other instance, it was later found out that the girl claiming Oscar raped her was one of two girls that Ocsar had thrown out of a party at his house for acting out of control. Oscar is the one who called the cops on them to have them removed from his property. They came up with the claim that Oscar had raped her to try and get revenge against him. That claim never made it to court either. It was nonsense. It was just as much bull**** as the girl claiming that Kobe Bryant raped her. Claiming that she had been raped, then went to the hospital the next morning, and they found pubic hairs from another person in her underwear.:-( Like she would get raped the night before, and then have her boyfriend **** her in the morning before she went to the doctors to get the **** kit done.

there's plenty of reasons to dislike oscar, but you'd be crazy to deny that he's done a lot of good for the sport.
