Oscar de la Hoya biography...you can't hate a guy like him

#1. No case was ever brought against him.

#2. Oscar has never been convicted of ****.. or even had to defend himself in court on a charge... because no **** case was ever presented in court against Oscar.

#3. You have no proof that he ever paid anyone off. You just like to assume that he did, just as a few reporters around that time liked to assume that he did. You are just not smart enough to know that a sports writer doesn't know anymore about this situation than we do.


So, you just choose to "assume" that Oscar raped some girl, because someone claimed that he did before. You have no facts, no case, no proof of anything... you are just going off of the accusation. Anyone can accuse any other person of anything they wanted. That doesn't make it true.

Any proof on the DLH **** incident?

I just recently watched a few documentaries about Joe Louis Ray Robinson and Jack Johnson.Louis and Robinson were projected as good guys in Boxing yet went through **** outside of the ring.Both Louis and Robinson didnt give a **** about there kids.Robinson was a wife beater but in the end we dont remember them for that.

De La Hoya had a propensity for the nightlife. Was it difficult transitioning from party animal to entrepreneur? What about the relationship with his other children? Does he even have one with them? If so, is it good or bad? All of this is relevant being that there is such a strong family theme in this ongoing series. De La Hoya had a **** case with a girl that disappeared quietly (it was settled out of court in 2001). The nitty-gritty details of that case have never been made public, and today, it looks like De La Hoya is a million miles away from that turmoil. I can't knock Hoya the man's is rich beyond belief has made a HOF career for himself and still seems to control a good chunck of boxing fans intrests. I don't much care for him like I've mentioned plenty of times he seems fabricated and munipulative. But he's a great talent, good champion and at times in his career he has shown a warriors heart. I'm sort of indifferent when it comes towards him. I guess you can say if he was hit by a car I would'nt mourn as much as I did when Diego was found dead.

March 18, 2000 -- A woman who claims boxer Oscar De La Hoya raped her when she was 15 years old failed to show evidence supporting her allegations and investigations by the Los Angeles police also failed to show evidence, rendering the case officially closed.
"No formal charges were brought to us for filing," Victoria Pitkin of the District Attorney's office said . A statement released by De La Hoya's office said, "We are pleased this matter has been dropped. It is unfortunate when anyone is the victim of such baseless allegations."
The woman, who has remained unidentified, made her allegations last Dec. 27, when she claimed that Oscar De La Hoya had assaulted her at a party at his house in West Los Angeles in 1996 and that his brother Joel De La Hoya raped her at a hotel.
De La Hoya, who always denied the accusation, was accused along with his brother in a civil lawsuit seeking monetary damages for ****, false imprisonment, sexual battery and assault. Her attorney, Taras Kick, said he is seeking in depositions to establish that "De La Hoya has a fetish with young girls and that he chased (the alleged victim) and he had sex with her ..."
All those frivolous claims against Oscar De La Hoya have been dropped and the case is officially closed



As a man i will take the side of the man's story.Dont like Kobe but i believe he went through the same thing many MALE celebs go through.Girl see's celeb wants to meet him.Celeb wants to get laid.After celeb get's what he needs doesnt give a **** about girl.Girl cant let it go claims foul because she doesnt want to feel used and dumped.
