The numbers don't lie do they?that said Isal that last PPV blockbuster must be the poorest PPV there's ever been,not just the Chavez disappointment but the undercard was abysmal too.
Anyway in my opinion Oscar has totally saved face in that he could of dragged the GGG thing out another year or so if he wanted.

 

Calm down boys. He's just wearing his promoter hat. I think he's top 3 in US-based boxing promoters.

 

That's not saying much. Boxing promotion here in the states is disgraceful when compared to the UK.

 

And the guy who put Ronda Rousey on the cover of the most celebrated magazine in all of boxing.

 

Oscar had good fighters on the card. That the fights didn't end in spectacular fashion is another thing. I don't watch boxing to see people get KO, I watch boxing to see who the better man is, if a KO happens, that's just the cherry on top.

I didn't really see many people on social media complain about the card, just about Chavez Jr fighting the way he did. I thought Canelo made a GREAT account of himself.

hey ALT/Troll, At least here in the states fighters take Challenges . How long has Brook been fighting, how many decent fighters has he fought? What about Eubanks Jr., and that other regional fighter who holds the WBO MW title hostage? Even GGG only has one decent name on his resume.

 

No me too infact if I'd payed for a PPV I'd be devod if it was over in a few rounds,Canelo is the ultimate pro in everything he does so no way was it his fault,he even tried his best to get Chavez into th fight but he'd was having none of it,that we got the announcement at the end kind of saved face but in hindsight and to be fair they were plenty who called this out for what it proved to be and like Kellerman said you just can't make top quality match ups out of nothing no matter the hype,Canelo and GGG are two elites on a collision course and like Degale v Jack,Ward v SK,AJ v Wlad,Jacobs v GGG,Thurman v Porter we can guarantee it's gonna deliver as 50/50 fights always do.

One thing I'd say about Oscar and Bhop is that in their day it wasn't in their nature to duck or avoid challenges,I reckon this is why so many became p***** off witH GB but anyway it's been made and not a moment too soon imo
