Forrest was in the same boat as PWill was with Floyd, not a known fighter who could produce big money. Also Oscar had already moved up to 154 so that fight was not viable.

Judah? Oh geez, I don't think anyone was calling for that fight, EVER!!

Winky stinky? I heard that fight never even reached the negotiation table.

Tyzsu? He was too busy chasing Sharmbe around.

he wanted tito BAD...still does. no matter WHAT he says.
understand people, ODLH by that time was making business moves.
like cotto and pac and may now.
you get in for the glory, but you leave -if you can - with the loot.
his resume still remains huge and swallows margarito's easily, for example.

Oscar didn't duck the Tito rematch, Tito did. Oscar got robbed in that fight.

Will, there are cases where guys should've fought and didn't, but a "duck" is a duck and Dlh ducked nobody. I don't think that Zab, Forrest, or Winky were ever mandatories.

This is simply a laughable DLH hate-thread.

    No doubt.

He should've at least left Winky off the list so it wouldn't look so comically ill-informed.

Winky should've been celebrating like a crackhead winning Powerball when Oscar offered him a fight that would've paid him over $10 mil once it was all said and done. Instead, it was like he had Homer Simpson negotiating for him.

Vernon Forrest and Winky wright were horrible matchups for de la Hoya.
Those fights woulda cemented oscars legacy as a strong B class fighter who never really stepped up in the big dance.

What did you think about Lara vs Canelo?
Pretty similar to the odlh vs Trinidad fight except Lara finished strong whereas odlh gassed.

Let's not forget he pulled out of the original fight with chicanito and made him move up two years later.

Oscar made Tito look like he was on his rag, Oscar got robbed everyone knows that. Just cuz Vernon was able to beat Mosley didn't mean he'd beat Oscar, many thought Quartey beat Forrest. Judah on his best day would never beat Oscar, not even on Oscar's level, that's some funny sheet.
