List of Arum-Dela Hoya co-promoted fights. Bob and Oscar worked together to promote these fights.

and many more ... So it's not impossible for Arum and Dela Hoya to work together.

 

Haymon associate George Peterson knew early on that Floyd was just ****in' around. George was so definite and insistent that the fight was not going to happen, and that was before OSDT. We can only assume who told George this.

Lookie at this quote from Mr De La Hoya I found from 2006 after he left Arum.

They contnued to work together till 2009, even after their dispute over Pac's contract. The thing that set Arum off was De La Hoya accusing Pacquiao of using steroids. That crossed the line. Oscar has to share part of the responsibility.

 

Is not a secret lots of people want the old man out he is over protecting and using whatever to control them remember Pac and Nonito both wanted to leave him he still bitter with Floyd and Oscar for bailing out.
