Of course that isn't the reason. Even though Floyd's first 3 fights were decent, they were no indication that he would be a PPV star. What if the judges gave the decision to Oscar in their fight? Oscar based the split on what seemed fair which was Oscar's PPV history and what Floyd could possibly bring as a great fighter to break previous PPV records, because his PPV history alone was not a viable indicator.

Mayweather did earn his share. But that was after the fact. De La Hoya-Mayweather had great potential and it delivered. Floyd got his fair share of the pot considering his minimal PPV history. He earned $25 million, which was 5 TIMES his previous high earnings for any fight.

Now Floyd wants to offer Pac a similar offer to what Oscar gave him. Problem is, Pac is also PPV attraction, with 15 PPVs already under his belt and 9.9 million buyers (more than Floyd, although Floyd averages more).

Only a delusional fanboy would think that is anywhere close to being a fair deal.

*****s already keep saying Pac is being robbed by Arum. Now they are encouraging Pac to get robbed by Floyd. :patsch

Oscar didn't do it for charity, Mayweather obviously made Oscar feel it was a good deal at the negociation table. Maybe he promised Oscar a fight or 2 under his promotional company?

Or maybe it probably had to do with Oscar picking everything else so Mayweather got extra % for jumping to 154, fighting in the ring size that Oscar wanted and all the extra stuff.

I don't think Mayweather is trying to rob him, I think both camps projections on how much the fight is going to make differ. Arum believes that there is going to be more then 100mil available for the fighters to split. GBP believe there will be around 100mil available for the fighters to split.

That's why his flat guarantee doesn't look so good. If the fight were to take place this year, it is projected to break the current PPV record since you have 2 certified PPV stars for the first time in history fighting each other. Having a fixed split on guarantees and PPV revenue takes out the uncertainty of a bad deal.

Still nobody able to justify Floyd's offer to Pac when taking into account what he earned from the Oscar fight being a PPV startup?

Are those real numbers? Ok, put the Mayweather vs De La Hoya PPVs aside, before that fight he wasn't doing that great in PPVs? :huh
