Excuse #1044 for why he lost to Mayweather in 2007: "I trained like an animal. But obviously my personal demons that i go through and face were in the way of me being at my best".

In an interview with the scene of boxing. Now says he was facing personal issues and that's why he wasn't at his best that night. Also uses it as a reason for why he thinks Canelo will do better LOL this guy just never stops.

What, they guy can't tell it how it was? I've never heard any excuses about that fight. He even said he didn't feel like Mayweather beat him anyway. And of course he had demons, at that point in his career he revealed the addictions he had years later.
If he wanted to make excuses he wouldn't be saying he trained like an animal.

I wouldn't consider it an "excuse" especially when he gave Mayweather hell. If he lost one-sided then sure it's a sad excuse.

Oskie is just blowing smoke like he always does. His so called personal demons didn't play a part in that schooling he took from Mayweather. He just got beat by a better fighter. If that's the case then he really demons riding him when Pac got ahold of his ass. They must have been sitting on his shoulders.

He made a career of losing his biggest fights. I don't know why he lets losing to the current P4P #1 bother him the most.

I mean if that excuse is acceptable for Whitakers loss to Trinidad then I assume it should be valid here as well.:deal Either way Floyd did struggle and won a fight against a faded coked out cross dressing DLH of which he barely won the fight by a single point SD :hi:

As much as Oscar wants to whine and make excuses for his shortcomings, he was very lucky that he took on one of the worst versions of Floyd that I ever saw in the ring, otherwise DLH would've lost in a more dominant manner. Floyd just didn't look as sharp as he had in previous fights (i.e. Judah or Baldomir fights.)

i was kind of surprised how close the fight was, it was one of Mayweather's worst performances as a pro in probably the last 7-8 years.

Floyd was a little bit rattled to the say the least. Dude came to the ring in a mexican cinco de mayo sombrero wearing the colors of the mexican flag.

I wonder if he's gunna pull something like that against Canelo. I think he might have learned his lesson, but I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

I'll give you a little more time to try and figure out why Floyd didn't perform
as well vs DLH as he did vs Judah or Baldomir:lol:
