I seriously think HBO has all of this planned out already. I think cotto-DLH will happen because who is Oscar going to fight for his last fight?
Of course its going to be a BIG fight that he is involved in for his farewell

That's pretty much what would happen. No way in hell Oscar would fight Cotto in a farewell fight after losing to Floyd. If he loses to Floyd, he'll probably try to lure Trinidad or Mosley, or some stiff in the ring with him.

That's a good call, makes sense now that I think about.

Before today, I was thinking Ricky Hatton in December actually (after he beats Lazcano), but would Ricky and his team be willing to move up to 147 or 150? Who knows, money makes people do a lot of things they otherwise wouldn't.

Cotto makes more sense and by no means is this an easy fight for Cotto. Prime De La Hoya knocks him out. Current De La Hoya likely drops a decision or gets stopped on accumulation late, but he still has the power to end it.

I'll give this one serious thought at a later point. All I'll say right now is that if he fights Cotto, Oscar better have that hip protector up around his armpits.

Better? Helllllll no. Just saying that's a possible final bout as well. It's winnable for Goldy; and DLH, Arum, and Chavez JR. would make a ton of money. Easy money is the name of the game of late.

    at what weight they'll fight??

I'm not su sure Cotto would go up to 154 . . . will DLH be able to make 147? hmmm

  15. Oscar wins this one at 5-11 and that strong jab Cotto will eat a lot of leather, but it dosen't matter because Margarito is gonna BEAT Cotto..
