thats an understatement. I think what he meant was for Pac to take on someone his own size instead of someone whom he practically have no chance of beating. It will be hard to criticize Pac's bravery on this one.
this fight brings him the greatest risk and the greatest honor should he win, plus the biggest money win or lose. so this fight is obviously the best fight for pac as a professional boxer. and i don't think pac has no chance at all to pull an upset.
No you're talkinga bout divisions. You say its about fighting the best, forget divisions for one second. Pretend Nate, Juan Diaz, Casamayor & DLH are all the same weight division. Who would be the best of the bunch, the roughest fight? Most would say Oscar. You're thinking divisions. Clear out this division, and that division and those division. Whatever, just fight the best. Margo is clearly too big and good for Pac, they think they can beat Oscar. Oscar may not be as good as Margo at this point but he's still alot tougher than Nate Campbell or Juan Diaz, guys you would rather Pac fought.
Damn now that it's getting close I'm started to really hate this, why small Pacquiao when you have other better options up there?, if Pacquiao was a 140 fighter then sure, accepting it won't be that ridiculous but damn he's a 130lb fighter who JUST made his 135 debut. This is crazy.
1. Oscar is a coward. Did you see what little Stevie Forbes did to his crossdressing face? Stevie Forbes is a sparring partner. 2. Height and Reach. Oscar is avoiding Margarito like the plague because Margarito is a freakishly large welter. And because he dominated the Terminator like Cotto. Oscar would have loved to fight Cotto because of his advantages in height and reach in that fight, but Antonio pissed on that Golden Parade. Now, Antonio has been deemed "Too Dangerous" by both Schaefer and Oscar. Boy howdy, I'd ****ing LOVE to question those two assholes on that one with the cameras running at a Press Conference. They would probably hem and haw worse than George W. Bush in the Rose Garden. 3. $$$$. Oscar can once again, get away with ****ing both the fans, and his opposition on the negotiating table. 65-35 is a farce, but Manny has agreed to it, barring some miracle on Thursday afternoon, when he makes his statement. 54.95, and 2 weeks before Xmas!!! And what does Oscar say about the poor in East LA who cannot afford that? "They can have fight parties and all pitch in" What a gutless ****. :smoke
