Oscar was a GREAT YOUNG FIGHTER, with huge wins early on.. He had the potential to be an all time great... But with 100 Million and pantyhose at a cross-dressers side, why would she care???

    Oh yea.. FALSE

Oscar was the money man.Fight him for 800k to $1mil or fight Trinidad for 100K. Guess where the better boxers went?

False. He beat a number of top fighters under 147, and at 147 including Ike Quartey.

    Wrong.

it was either Oscar or Jones that were pound for pound best.

They surpassed Whitaker after whitaker twice struggled with Rivera who many had him beating Whitaker twice and then he also struggled with Hurtado before koing late in the fight.

The Whitaker that Oscar fought was clearly past it.

With that said a case can be made that Whitaker won that fight.

Whitaker's ko over Hurtado didnt elevated him to number one.

    Stop making **** up.

Whitaker was getting beat and looking like **** before he stopped Hurtado.

No way he moved up in the pound for pound list cause of that performance.

    Really?

He looks average in those fights.

    Clearly past it.

Then you should have seen him in prime against the likes of Nelson,Haugen,Ramirez,Pineda etc.

Delahoya didn't even get to the division until mid-97. Trinidad and the others were there well before that.
