Oscar will fight an exhibition bout against Gilberto Mendoza on Sept 5th Does anyone think that he may be comtemplating a comeback ? Also there will be a showdown between Roineth Caballero vs Ponce De Leon. What are your thoughts on this ?
The exhibition could be for charity, that could be a factor for Oscar, but it seems likely he really wants to box again, I just don't think he'd do all that well anymore unless he's up against guys outside the top 10 or so or with good style matchups.
Isn't Mendoza the president of the WBA? If so, I wouldn't look too much into this. A lot of retired guys have a charity exhibition now and then.

Oscar might not be finished. He weighed less than Pac for christ sake. If he gets back to normal healthy weight he might be fine.
If Oscar comes back its because he is GBP's most marketable fighter. Times are tough for GBP I guess. That way Oscar will have his rematch with PBF if they both win in Sept...I hope its a rumor as I have not heard anything out here in LA about it.
