Oscar's style was clearly influenced by Robinson's. I always thought that Oscar tried to based his style off a combination of Robinson, Leonard, and Sanchez. Although Oscar was excellent, he wasn't as talented as those three were -- he was stiffer, more robotic, and not as creative. But I did always like the fact that Oscar had an old school style.

Boxing;s got some great decades. To me the era from about 1935 to Bernard Hopkins' last fight against Joe Smith (correct me if Im wrong about the name?) was the true golden era.

But the Robinson years were excellent.
