Did you just compare Kermit Cintron to Vernon Forrest? Anyway, this would be a completely different fight, because Floyd's more skilled than Mosley and Forrest was faster and more skilled than Cintron. Forrest also had more boxing skills than Mosley, where as Mayweather is more skilled than Kermit. Two totally different fights.

I swear, you people are impossible to satisfy!

You will always finding a reason to bash and discredit Mayweather!

You guys complained about him fighting smaller guys and not fighting natural Welterweights and here it is he maybe fighting a Jr Middleweight and it's still not enough! Now you're saying he should fight Williams!

I see why Floyd act the way he does, because he realizes it's impossible to appease you people!

I see some people saying Cintron's a bum! It's like Pacquiao can fight any washed up shot fighter like DeLaHoya & Cotto and he gets credit for it as long as he knocks them out, yet when Floyd fights weak opposition he gets nailed to the cross....

    UGH! I hate haters!

And Cintron is a very tough fight!

He's a better fighter than Clottey that's for sure... he's a harder puncher as well and won't sit on the ropes for 12 rds covering up like Clottey so often does! He's also bigger than Clottey!

And for the people saying Floyd should fight Williams... Williams is an elite fighter, a very tough opponent, VERY TOUGH!

Why would Floyd fight Williams when this is suppose to be a tune up fight?!?

If anything, he should fight Cintron (a hard punching natural Welterweight) in March, the winner of Mosley/Berto in June, and maybe fight Williams in December or early next year!

But it's foolish to say he should fight Paul Williams in a tune up fight to prepare for Mosley!:-(

It's a good fight for Floyd but Cintron been at 154 for a while and honestly coming down in weigh will actually hurt him. Cintron has a hard right hand but doesn't have the conditioning and skills to beat Mayweather. Cintron can get outbox, outworked, and gets frustrated very easily when nothing is going his way as we did see in the martinez and margarito fight. But I wouldn't mind seeing it though or for him to sit and wait for the winner of the Mosely/Berto fight.

I seriously hope that de la Homo's company will insist on Olympic Style random blood testing.... otherwise they are all hypocrites

Wow! Now Clottey is a monster, world beater huh? I need to go stand next to Pacquiao. It seems that anybody around him or connected to him grows in wealth, reputation and stature almost immediately.

:good Now that is a very interesting point!!

From now on, all GBP card fighters must surely be subject to Olympic style testing?

    If not, why?

:good As a "Tune up" fight Cintron is a respectable choice of opponent.

It is who Floyd fights after Kermit that will be most telling.

This is a pretty decent choice of opponent. Cintron is well skilled, has good power and is at the minimum a natural 147 pounder.

Be a bit surprising if Floyd took it though, good fighter with practially no name.
