Tribute to ODLH where we bring forward the things (good and bad) that come to mind when we look back at his career. Here's something I will never forget: "...bodyshot....bodyshot....bodyshot....oooooh Oscah!" :happy Weirdest moment in boxing ever. De La Hoya is on the canvas pummeling at it in rage, looking more like the guy who just lost a huge bet rather than the guy who just got KO'd.
1. Quitting against Bernard (then MYSTERIOUSLY joining forces a WEEK later):bart 2. Running against Tito:-( 3. Beating Vargas, and Mayorga AFTER Tito dropped nuclear bombs on their asses. 4. Fighting MUCH smaller men (DLH and Manny) and getting the **** beat out of him. 5. STILL getting fights against P4P kings when his LAST major win was against Ike Quartey in 1999 people:nut In this decade he beat Arturo "punching bag" Gatti, Yori Boy Campus (another Tito victim YEARS ago), Vargas (see #3), and Stevie Forbes, and his GREAT performance against Felix Sturm. This guy has been a fraud for a DECADE:deal
He has achieved more than me and you both will ever achieve in our life. And for the record he schooled Tito Trinidad.
Fishnets:rofl:rofl:rofl Anyway iOscar was one of the best fighter I have seen in his prime. I still remember when Oscar still had that bounce when he fights. Old George used to say when Oscar is bouncing and coming toward his opponent they better watchout because Oscar is seeing something. Oscar is good enough that I believe in his prime he would have woop Floyd Jr. ass at 140 and 147.
