I think he's forfeited his right to a rematch. He ducked GGG for two years, got badly beaten, then gets caught for PEDs, and wants to lowball GGG. That's four strikes against him. If he wants the money a rematch will bring then GGG can take it, but he doesn't owe Canelo anything at this point. Canelo broke their contract by not showing for the scheduled rematch and GGG needs to be moving on. He has mandatories that deserve a shot, and Canelo doesn't get to shoot to the front of the line for another bite at the apple whenever he wants.

Haven't seen those guys on too many P4P lists. You've resorted to using drug testing as a smoke screen to duck a Canelo rematch. It's a tell tale sign of being a duck-billed platypus.

This. Great post. Canelo has already robbed us of 2 GGG fights. Golovkin needs to think of legacy right now and unifying with Saunders will do that. He'll bust Hopkins' record and unify at the same time. Frankly Saunders at his best would box non-ped Canelo's ears off.

Canelo's the Lineal Champion. He's the Man Who Beat the Man Who Beat The Man.

In what World did Canelo get "badly beaten" by Golovkin? How in the tank for Golovkin are you? It's a good idea to at least give the impression that you're not completely in the tank for a fighter.

That's the most pathetic argument I've ever heard.

Why don't we exempt GGG from drug testing and let him do a course of whatever industrial-grade chems Pednelo is on? He'll probably be killng people in the ring! But Clenelo doesn't want a level playing field.

Legacy of running away from the first fighter to take him into really deep waters? Golovkin finally fought a fighter he couldn't beat, and he proceeds to duck the rematch? Great legacy.

Golovkin beat Canelo 8-4. He beat the man who beat the man.

He also hasn't given Jacobs a rematch or even talked about seriously rematching him.

Canelo Álvarez pulls out of Gennady Golovkin fight over doping ban threat

    https://www.theguardian.com/sport/2...nnady-golovkin-fight-called-off-boxing-doping

    But wait, there's another:

Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez has withdrawn from his scheduled rematch with Gennady Golovkin in the wake of his failed drug tests.

GGG fans don't act like he has options!!!
His last option Hi Me looks a bit too tough now!!

GGG will not fight anyone with a pulse until that Canelo pay day!!! He will fight another Scuba diver or just sit on his belt!!!

At least Linares took his body shot with dignity. Doubled over and wincing but still kept it together mostly. Remember Oscar rolling around in the fetal position with that face when he got his liver shot against Hopkins? :D The Pac fight was my favorite of his though.

Jacobs did better than Canelo even though I still think he lost. Jacobs is in any case in line for a rematch. I think he's a mando again.

You forgot to say that GGG is a cruiser that weight drains down to 160 to bully the little guys. You're slipping.
